Ultra safe and secure location, just minutes from downtown Sacramento. We found it clean, serviceable and comfortable. The extra TV in the main bedroom was a great idea. We were there in June with our one year old grandson and temperatures of 105 so the AC was a 'must have'. Sitting inside, looking through the trees that line the park, nice and cool with 1-5 outside felt like a real luxury. We stayed for three weeks and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Really liked the fact that the rooms were not connected to someone else's room. Liked parking right in front. Liked the feel of home. Being able to cook and not have to eat fast food. Quiet and cozy.
Staff is wonderful. Truly designed for long-term stays for those doing business in the area and very good at that... Comfortable, economical and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.
It's location requires that you must have a car. It's out of the way and not in a walkable neighborhood of the city.
Thanks we enjoyed our stay and so did our service dog shiloh
This hotel is mis represented. It is not a cottage. It is a trailer!
what a delightful place to stay. Far more charming than a hotel and at a better price. Very comfortable. I was there only one night and would definitely stay there again.
The only snafu was the lack of bar soap and shampoo. There was only pump soap. The hostess was very apologetic about it when I mentioned it.
Cottages were cute. They are very clean. Well decorated. My husband does not like staying in a hotel and the cottages gave us the feel of staying in a bed and breakfast. Living room./kitchen large bathroom and good size bedroom.
Staff and owner were so accomodating and friendly. Very supportive.
Lack of access to conveniences such as supermarket
I loved the rooms and loved the owners. The units were spotless and well furnished, and the owners could not do enough. Bernice and Jackie treat their guests like family.
I liked that my manufactured home was private with a full kitchen. I was very comfortable and despite the area I felt safe. The unit had 3 telivisions and two additional mattresses in the loft area. It was quircky and cute. I would stay there again if I was doing business in the area.
I did not know this was a community of manufactured homes (trailer park) The sofas are old and need to be replaced. There was no 1st aid kit in the home. I cut my finger while washing a glass and bled for sometime. I would have had to drive to get first aid. I was able to stop the bleeding by applying pressure with paper towels. Also I wanted to order a pizza and the restaurant told me they would not deliver there after dark, I went to the trader Joe's nearby and did just fine.
Location suited our trip plans. Having a living, dining area plus bedroom gave us a lot for our money, much better than a single hotel room.
It had ac and the staff was friendly.
Bait and switch, Arden Acres advertised its modern 1 and 2 bedroom cottages with queen beds but what we got was a 60's 70's era single wide trailer with full beds. Bedroom door would not shut and the standing lamp in a dark area of the living had no bulbs in it.
Clean private unit with lovely decor and a super comfortable bed.
Batteries on remote dead, fridge made an odd sound
Cuteness and spaciousness of cottages. And owners and managers who were very accommodating.
We liked the privacy these individual units gave us. No noise from other units. Having a living room and kitchen included in the reasonable price usually paid for a simple motel room was a deinite plus.
The location leaves a lot to be desired.
